Bellevue Buddy Baseball 2017
Today was our annual Buddy Baseball game with the baseball teams from Bellevue East and West and some of the Storm Chaser Players. This year we were lucky enough to have it AT Werner stadium. It was a very cool experience for everyone. Wish it wouldn't have been raining all morning, but at least it wasn't 104 degrees out! This was Vollen's Buddy, Jaden for the day.
They got to walk the tunnel consisting of parents & girls softball players. It was a really cool way to introduce each player and their Buddy.
The Grey Team!
Practicing before hand.
They got their photo up on the screen and the announcer said a blurb about each of them like their interests. They also got to have their own song played when they came out. The parents submitted their 'walk out song' along with their info. We heard everything from Whip & Nay Nay to a cute little Preschool Bop song, Who Let the Dogs Out, Centerfield to the theme song from Mowana. It was very cute!
One of the High School Coaches wanted to race him!
100+ people
Awards ceremony
They got a bag of goodies from Oriental Trading.
Best Buddies Jaden and Vollen!
