In Food Processor:
1 can chic peas, mostly drained
1 can black beans, mostly drained
1 whole lime juiced
6 Katamala Olives, pitted
¼ cup tahani paste
Whole bulb of cooled garlic (squeezed out of the skin)
Lots of cumin
Salt & Pepper
Dash of Paprika
Dash of Cayanne Pepper
Olive Oil streamed in to make smooth
Sneak Preview!
I am finally able to share a sneak peek of the pictures of Vollen that may or may not be a part of the 2012 Down Syndrome calendar! Hee hee hee
Also, we would love it if you and your family would walk with Vollen's group at the Buddy Walk!!! It's Saturday, October 15th. The walk is at 11. But the fun things for kids (and adults) starts at 9:00 at UNO. They have face painting with 10 MORE artists than last year, bouncy obstacle course, carnival games, photo booth, free food like bagels, fruit water and other snacks, etc... We are odering shirts this year that say, "Walk with the Mohawk" on the front and a saying on the back (not just sure yet on the exact wording). They will be $10 each. Let me know what size(s) you need and if you want to join us!

Rolling with Vollen!
Family Day
Today we had our carpets cleaned so we needed to get out of the house because the kids would have been in the way and on the wet carpet, so we decided to take a walk. We walked to the park.
Pushing her baby in the swing.
Vollen was playing peek-a-boo.
Vollen wanted to carry the baby
Tired baby fell asleep coloring in the highchair.
