I can't even believe I am typing swim meet. This girl did not even know how to swim a year ago. She was in swim lessons just learning a year ago. She joined the swim team this year and is loving it. Practices are hard and she is tired, but so many of her friends are on it, she just has so much fun.
Her very first race ever was the 50 backstroke. That means 2 lengths of the pool (down and back).
I don't have any pictures of her actually swimming because I video tapped her races.
But let me just tell you I was crying because she did so well! My baby, taking after her mama and swimming my stroke too!!! She did awesome.

We went outside to run around and take a break. The stands were crowded and it was hot in there! Grandma brought some coloring books & crayons and Halloween books.

This was her last race. The 25 freestyle. One length of the pool. She doesn't do as good at this as her back stroke. She wants to breath too much and flips over and stays there a while to breath and then goes back to her front. You can't do that!!!
It was fun to see her swimming. It brought back a lot of memories for me.
