Birthday Girl's Night Out

Jenni, Renee and I went out tonight for my birthday. I had so much fun. It was way better than yesterday. 

 We got the brushetta appetizer. SO good. 

I got the Margarita Pizza with mushrooms. Yummy!

Then we went to Brix and realized that it was half price night! Score! We had a nice catching up chat! 

It was a good night with some great gals. Thanks for making my birthday special ladies. Muah!

Destination Discovery Camp

This week Sophie will be attending two camps at Brownell Talbot. The morning one is Lions, Tigers and Bears, Oh my! The afternoon one is Sid the Science Kid. She didn't like that one as much as the morning one.

 Vernon said when she got there and the teacher asked her what her name was she said, "Miss Sophia". We got such a chuckle out of that. We still giggle when we think of her saying that. : )

 This is Mrs. Becker. She *could be* Sophie's Kindergarten teacher. We find out in two weeks their class assignments. There are 2 Kindergarten teachers. Mrs. Becker is one of them. She said she really liked her.

My 34th Birthday

My birthday was.......not great. I don't mean to complain, but it really wasn't. I had to work first off, but if I had off, I wouldn't have done much anyway cause Vernon had to work too. So, whatever. During work, after church I started to feel sick. My stomach was NOT feeling good at all. Tums didn't help at all. So, even after work I still was feeling crappy. Vernon got home and we went to my parents. Ate real quick and then had to leave because our air conditioner at home was not working and it was getting warm in the house and we wouldn't have slept well if we hadn't gotten it fixed. The guy was meeting us there and we had to go. Ended up being the compressor. Glad we had it fixed though.

My WONDERFUL co-worker Marisa makes desserts for the staff and kids' birthday's. She is so sweet. She does it with her own ingredients and on her own time. She is super sweet. She made me these chocolate cheesecakes. They are SO good. Seriously.

 A macro lens for my camera!!! Isn't it AWESOME? I had so much fun today playing with it. I have wanted one for so long. I just love this Basil picture. YUMMMM! I LOVE getting super close up.

 Today was much better. Vernon took all the kids to drop off my campers. Sophie went at 8 and Vollen went at 9:30 to their camps that were all day. It was nice to have a quiet morning, even though I cleaned the house. Then Lori came to visit from NY with her baby. It was nice to chat with her. And tonight I am going out with Jenni and Renee. We will have a great time. My stomach is feeling better, but still not 100%. Tomorrow Vernon and I are going out to dinner for my B-day, so all is good, even though the actual day was kinda crappy.
