 Daddy made some berry smoothie dessert and the kids sure enjoyed it!

Bully Free Week

Vollen's school is having a Bully Free week to bring awareness to bullying and have all the kids in the school were certain things on certain days.

 Today was mismatch day. He did not like the two different shoes at first. I think it felt weird for him to have on 2 different shoes. 

 I also left his hair flat and not spiked up. 

 Showing me his socks are mismatched too.

First time Bowling EVER

Tonight was all three of my kids' first time bowling EVER! And boy did they love it. Seriously, LOVED it.

 Instead of going to my parents tonight for dinner, we went bowling. 

 We went to Simpex in Elkhorn.

 The kids had so much fun pushing their balls down the ramp.

 Sophie loved helping her brothers. She would help them get the ball over to the ramp (which she didn't even need to help with, both of them could carry the 8 lb balls over).

 She had just as much fun helping them as she did bowling herself!

 We had this guy that worked there 'try' and take our group shot. Every time he pushed the button the flash didn't go off. When my dad went over to show him how to push and hold the button down my dad would take a test shot and the flash would go off. When the guy tried it again, it didn't go off again. I think we tried this like 8 times. We finally just said forget it. Some did turn out ok.

Our 'YayYa"

So, I have to brag a little. Our awesome, spectacular, wonderful, amazing babysitter Michaela (or as Vollen says 'YayYa') is featured in this month's Spectrum Magazine (page 11). She said she had no idea two different people nominated her to be "young hero of the month" and she was chosen!!! Isn't that awesome???? I told her I wanted her autograph on our magazine!!! She is such a special girl. We love our "YayYa"!
