Sunday Dinner
We usually have dinner at my parents on Sunday evenings, but tonight my dad was out of town with 8 other guys on a golf trip (but actually on his way home) and Vernon had to call a mandetory staff meeting with his techs, so he wasn't there. But I made dinner and we just had my brothers and mom over here.

Cooing & Batting
Well, I thought I was done posting for today, but something just happened that I want to document. I was holding Vollen on my lap. He was sitting facing me with the boppy propping him up behind him. I was talking to him and trying to get him to start cooing. Tonight was the first time I actually felt like he was trying to talk to me back. His mouth was moving like he was trying to talk and his eyes were really big and he was starring at me the entire time. After a long time he had a tiny smile IN RESPONSE to what I was saying. This is the first time he has ever done these things and I truly thought it was real. It made me tear up, like he is finally getting it!!!! I hope this is just the start of more to come.
I also was holding Sophie's play necklace over him trying to get him to bat at it. He actually did grab onto it a couple times and batted at it a lot. My little baby is growing up!!!
It's H E R E!!!
Finally my stroller arrived! We had ordered it way back when Vollen was only two or three weeks old. They said it would be in at the end of May, and here it is the end of June. Do you know how many beautiful evenings we could have been enjoying only having one stroller and being able to have one person only in control of Raja and how many walks I could have been doing by myself with the kids???
Well, we are so glad that we finally have it and boy is it nice. It has suspension hydrolics and is such a smooth ride. It turns on a dime and is just so slick all the way around. It is the Cadillac of strollers and was worth the extra money. We will use it so much. We were so excited to take it for a spin that we didn't care that it was the hottest part of the day and just miserable humidity outside, we just wanted to do a trial run.
