English Morning

This morning we had Vollen's IFSP meeting with his whole Early Intervention team. Since he turned 2 we did his yearly review. He pretty much met all the goals we had set for him last year and again 6 months ago. We set new ones with some hefty expectations, but I think he will be able to handle it!
I didn't get a picture of the whole team, I don't know what I was thinking. : ( He was such a ham and showing off for all of them, even displaying his new word, "BIRTHDAY" on cue!

While we were meeting Sophie got to go up to Addi's house to have tea and crumpets with her bestie! They loved their spot of tea. Jenni is so clever! When the boys and I came up we had a quick lunch before naps. Here we are trucking up the hill.

Lunch & leotards!

Jenni gave me a crumpet to try since I had never had one before. It tastes just like an English Muffin and with raspberry jam. How splendid?!?!

2 Visits ~ 2 Years ~ 2 Months

My girl. This morning I had both the boys' well-checks.

Vollen's 2 year check!

Drum roll.......

(Down Chart ~ Typical Chart)

Weight: 29 lbs. >90% ~ 68%

Height: 34 in. 90% ~ 38%

Head: 18 in. 50% ~ 25%

Sophie's stats at 2 years old:

Weight: 28 1/2 lbs. (75%)

Height: 36 in. (95%)

Head is 18.5 in. (50%)

Dr. A was really happy with everything regarding Vollen. He is right on track and doing everything right. No problems, no issues. We don't go back until he is 3!

Then we have big boy RoRo's 2 month check.

Here are his stats:

Weight: 15 lbs. (99%)

Height: 24 in. (82%)

Head: 16 1/4 in. (77%)

Vollen's stats at 2 mo. (typical chart)

Weighs: 10 lbs. 10 oz. (70%)

Height: 23 in. (75%)

Head: 15.3 in. (10%)

It was a difficult juggling act getting both of their appts. done. I thought it would be easier to schedule both at the same time to save a trip, but it was harder than I thought, undressing and weighing & measuring both, waiting for doctor, getting each examined and then shots for baby and blood draw (3 vials worth) for V to test his thyroid. I'm glad I had the stroller to corral Bubba.

Pretty Bread

Guess what we had for lunch today. Egg salad sandwiches on pretty bread!
Ronan loves the black and white designs on the cow balloons.

He starred at it for so long.

Easter Morning

Early morning breakfast.
