Water water

This morning we went over to a friends house for a quick play date. The kids had a blast playing on this water bouncy.
It is so cool I want one for our yard.

Vollen tried to go up the wall, but couldn't quite get it.

We came back and had lunch and then I put together Vollen's water table.

It supposed to be water & SAND table, but anyone that knows me, knows I HATE sand and we will just be keeping ours an all WATER table!

Enjoying the afternoon. It was a beautiful day today.

I love our canopy. It keeps the bugs out, the sun off of us and we can be outside way longer than we could if we didn't have it. I love it.

Memorial Day 2011

After I got off work today I came home and needed a nap. I fed the baby and we fell asleep. I just love those fat cheeks.

Soph was crafting

Vernon made this delicious pizza. With whole wheat organic crust, goat motzerella, sundried tomatoes, spinach, hamburger, mushrooms, onions, garlic and black olives. Yumm

Bubba was MESSY at the end.

Sophie claimed to not like it at first, but then ate almost all of it by the end.

Hair Cut!

This article I read a few weeks ago made me smile because I can relate so well. I thought it was appropriate for today's post.

Vernon and I went to Crave for their brunch without the kids. It was excellent and to top it off we had the buy one get one free buffet Groupon. Nice! It was delicious and very, very good. The waffles were my absolute favorite (Vernon's too). It was so soft and sweet. I put strawberry puree on mine with homemade whipped cream. It tasted EXACTLY like the strawberry wedding cake at Garden Cafe. So, so good and I can't even believe I didn't get a picture of it. I was in a fog of yumminess! But with each buffet you get to choice of a mimosa, Bellini (3 different kinds) or oj. Vernon and I had a peach Bellini. Cheers!

BTW, today is my parents anniversary. We love you!!!!

I was finally able to get Sophie's hair cut today. I have been meaning to go, I just never found the time. With Vernon home today I could leave Vollen with him and go.

She did such a good job listening to the stylist. She held really still.

Bubba got some sun today at the LaVista parade that my mom took the kids to today. She said Vollen had so much fun waving at everyone going by and clapping and high fiving the clowns. Sophie couldn't stop telling me all about it and everything she saw. It was really cute.

We tried Ingredient tonight. We have never been there before. It was good and healthier than other places.

My little boy looked so old tonight.

Indoor Picnic

Last night Vollen fell down the 4 steps off the porch down into the potty palace. He hit in between his eyes. Poor baby was black and blue today.
The kids were playing in my closet this morning when I was getting ready. Sophie closes the door and comes out with this on. It's my swim suit bottom of my tankini. She wore it the entire day as a off the shoulder dress. What a goofball.

We got to play a game while Vollen was napping. We can't play when he's up since he will come over and pound on the game and mess everything up. It's Soph and I's special time together.

She was being silly.

Sophie was having a picnic with Vollen. They were eating cheese and crackers. Look who else wanted to join the party, no.....not ants.....a big furry dog named Raja. She was ready to pounce if any crumb hit the floor.
