Silly Slippers

Sophie got some new slippers and just loves them. They have apples on top of them and she was pointing at the apples and looking at them closer in this photo.
She loved running around in them and likes looking at them as she walks around.

She also got a new Big Girl table & chair set. She was so cute today after I set it up. She would sit in one chair and then get up and go around to the other chair and sit in that, and then go back to the other one. She was having fun and loving being able to color and put puzzles together on it.

Here she is being silly on her tippy toes trying to put a puzzle piece in.

She likes sitting in the basket that holds her books. I am not sure why.

May Day Baby

Today I had another one of my regular OB checkup appointments. Everything is still going great. I talked to the doctor about when we were going to schedule the c-section. She had no problems with us scheduling on Friday, May 1st. So, if everything continues to go well and I don't go into labor before then, I will have the baby on May Day!!! I am very excited about this.

Sunday Brunch

Last night Sophie was putting this baby crib pad on Raja. And she was putting shoes on Raja's feet. Poor Raja has to be Sophie's dress up doll until her new brother comes along!

Christmas Day

Sophie got to see great grandma and grandpa before they had to leave.

Grandpa liked it more than she did. He wanted to sing karaoke into it.

She was funny opening presents. She would rip off little pieces at a time and hand each one to me before moving on.

Here she is with her brand new baby doll. She did not put that baby down the rest of the night. She didn't even want to open any more presents.

It was so funny how into that baby she was. She would put it up to her shoulder and pat it's back. It cries and sucks the bottle and pacifier too. She even wanted to take it in her crib last night and I HAD to go get the bottle too or she wouldn't go to sleep.

All of a sudden the two girls were gone and all we could hear was this giggling coming from the other room we went to see what they were up to and this is what we found. They were both in grandma's rocking chair with their babies and just laughing with each other. They stayed like that for about a half an hour. Goofy girls.

Overall it was a very fun Christmas and Sophie enjoyed seeing everyone.

Christmas Morning

We had Vernon's parents over for breakfast so they could see Sophie get her presents from them.

She loves putting her babies in there and pushing them around.

Christmas Eve

Our new kitchen table

Sophie loves eating up at our new table as a family. This is the first time we all have been able to eat a meal together at home. She graduated from the high chair. She feels like such a big girl.
This cracks us up. She takes her other hand and makes sure nothing drops out of her spoon or fork when she eats. I don't know where she learned this.

Holiday Zoo Lights!

Tonight we went to see the animal lights at the zoo. It was much better than I thought it would be. We went with my brother and his family and my parents (Vernon had to work late). The kids loved looking at all the colorful lights.

The aquarium was open too, so we warmed up and walked through that. I saw this strange guy, I had never seen him before. I called him Pinocchio.

She likes taking everything from one section to another and then back again. Silly!

Sophie does not care for being dirty. She doesn't like anything on her hands. When she is eating, lets say a banana, if she gets a small piece of it on her hands she continues to ask, 'whats that?' while staring at it or she starts whining until I wipe it off.

I don't know what she is trying to do here with the fork.
